Skiing with the Cousins and Sam B.

February 23rd~

The whole family headed up to bogus to ski.  We ran into Sam Butler inside the lodge and both Sam's were excited to ski together.  Sam B. has been in lessons for a few years already, but his dad was a great coach to Sam and gave our Sam some good pointers.

After Chris and I did a few runs with the kids on the bunny slope, the cousins took Molly and I down Sunshine.  It was amazing to see Molly's skill and confidence grow as she followed her cousins.

Porcupine in Twin Falls

February 19th ~

On this trip to cover work in Twin Falls, I discovered the rim trail.  It was so beautiful to run along the Snake River Canyon.  And I even saw a porcupine!

Hiking in Arizona

January 30- February 3rd~

Nana and Papa drove us to Tortilla Flats for lunch.  We were able to stop along the way and let the kids "hike."

Arizona

January 31st -  February 3rd ~

Nana & Papa rented a house in Mesa, AZ and the kids and I could not miss a chance for some warm weather.

It was a quick trip and we flew in late Friday night and came back mid-day on Monday.  However, we got a lot packed into our short trip.

The plan left at 9:23 PM so I was banking on the fact the kids would fall asleep, but of course they didn't.

Molly and Sam kept trying to do pool tricks, but they never quit turned out.

The kids could swim in the morning before the pools became adult only.  Once the pool started to fill up, I told Dad I was glad this was not a nudist colony.

We were all impressed with the cacti.  Until I got of the plan, I did not realized I have never seen a legit large real cactus.

By Nana & Papa's trailer.

The sleeping arranging was a bit snug.

Molly loved Arizon and kept saying how she could not believe there wasn't a cloud in the sky.  Her favorite was also walking around in the warm air at night and she correctly pointed out Venus to me.

Of course, a trip to the local Dunkin' Donuts was a must.
