So last week was my first 7 days off of work. Lynn, Kerry, and the girls already had plans to go to Montana....and I decided to meet them there.
I flew in a couple of days before they did so mom and I could meet with the florist and cake lady for the wedding. The cake shopping went very well. I basically saw exactly what I wanted in the first book..something simple but elegant. And since it is so simple the price was a lot less than I had planned (wedding first).
The flowers were another story. Since I am not one of those "picky brides" I didn't have a lot to offer the florist. I showed them some different pictures I printed off the Internet, and told them the color of my bridesmaids, and basically told them to just make them look nice. But I think it they should turn out good also.
Then my girls came to town. Ella and Morgan just ran up to me with great big hugs saying "Auntie your here." Every day after Ella kept saying your still here, we're still here. Morgan just kept telling me about the new dress and shoes she bought for my wedding. And Ashley, oh my goodness. She looks the same but about 10 lbs heavier. All you have to do is look at her and she gives this huge open mouth smile and starts to laugh. She is such a happy baby (she only cries when hungry), and her favorite thing to do is lay on the floor and watch her big sisters play.
I was very sad to say goodbye to everyone...and the mountains. The worst part of the trip was Kristin flew in Wednesday night, and I flew out that morning. I was sorry that it did not work for me to see her, but she is coming to Kearney to visit in June, so that should be fun. Chris and I will also be heading back to Montana in a couple of weeks to meet the minister, get the tuxedos and get a marriage license.
Other than that work has been going good. Tonight is day 6 straight, so basically one more then I get another week off!!!! I definitely like getting my 12 hour shifts out of the way at the beginning of the week because after that 10s seem to fly by.
