End of May - 2018

May 31st~

Daddy taught the kids how to do stick races.

Arts & Crafts

Piper wanted to join in on the fun.

If Sam see's a garbage truck he still says, "maybe that one has my pink 4-wheeler."  I don't think he will ever forgive us for throwing away the 4-wheeler when it broke.  However, we did find this jeep at a garage sale for $5 dollars, so hopefully he will think it is an okay substitute.

I told Chris I knew he would always give me the life I deserved:)

Molly~

We also found a new treadmill at a garage sale and it is still a hit with the kids.

Ella was teaching Molly how to play a piano song based on the colored tape.  Daddy then had to show Molly a song too.

Sam...

Both kids are obsessed with the salad spinner, so much so I can use it as a bribe at times.  I had to take a picture of Sam spinning the lettuce since he is using the best CPR technique!

Molly, the Kindergarten Graduate

May 31st~

I can't believe the school year is already over.  Molly enjoyed kindergarten so much.  She had a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Witgenstein, and made some good friends.  Thursday was her Kindergarten Promotion and she was so excited to show us the songs she learned for the occasion.

They sang two super cute songs about all they learned in kindergarten.

Then each kind had a chance to say what they wanted to be when they gear up.  Molly picked a veterinarian.

She then was presented with her certificate.

We took Molly's picture outside the school when were done and she wanted to hold the big leaf.  These two pictures show how happy and full of life Molly is.

Family Fishing/Memorial Day

May 27th~

We repeated our Sunday fishing adventure with Chris going out early and then the kids and I meeting him after church.
Chris enjoyed a nice morning.

He even caught a nice kokanee

It was supposed to be colder so I didn't even think about packing swim suits for the kids.  However, that did not stop them...

Molly made friends with a butterfly she named Flaps.  Flaps followed us from one side of the reservoir all the way back to the boat dock.  It was the craziest thing.  Molly wanted to keep Flaps as a pet but she finally flew off once we got to the truck.

Molly's First Lemonade Stand

May 26th~

Molly decided she wanted to make her first ever lemonade stand and I was very surprised of her dedication.  Anytime she saw a car she would jump up, grab her sign and start yelling "lemonade for sale, lemonade for sale," even if the car was a block away.  She also stayed outside for close to four hours.  I kept trying to tempt her back in the house where it was not so hot but she would not listen to me.

One lady who bought some lemonade asked what Molly was going to do with all her money and she replied, "by something expensive."

Showcase at Gymnastics

May 23rd~

Molly started going to gymnastics at The Little Gym in February.  A short 4 months later she had her showcase.  Her class is a fun based program that first and foremost teaches about respect and friendships.  The gymnastics skills that they did teach, Molly did really well on.  I know I am mom, but I feel she has some natural ability or gymnastics...or at least no fear to try new things.
