Zoo with Kingston
March 31st~
That following Tuesday both Anna and I had off work and we decided to take all the kids to the zoo, though Molly was mainly excited to see Kingston.
I think the big kids ran around more than they stayed put to look at the animals, but they sure did have a blast.

Sam had a successful introduction to the podee and it worked great!
Then the big kids had to eat as well

More Nana and Papa (cabin and zoo)
Nana and Papa came back for yet another visit. We headed to the cabin again and Papa dropped off a platoon boat! We did not get a chance to take it out on the water during this trip, but the following weekend the McCulloughs were able to with Nana and Papa.

We also celebrated Papa's and Auntie Lynnea's birthdays
I told Molly she need shoes and a sweater to go out and play. She said "ok" and proceeded to take off her pants and then put on what I asked her. I may have to be more specific next time!

I think the best part of their visits is all the pictures they take for me of my wonderful kiddos!

St. Patricks Day
March 17th~
We had some friends over for St. Patrick's Day and Chris made the custamary corn beef and hash. It was easily his best yet and I was very sad when there were no leftovers. It had been quite awhile since we have seen some of our friends and we enjoyed catching up.

Great Weather
March 7th &15th~
We have continued to have incredible weather. On Saturday I had the nieces over to play and they headed straight outdoors. I set up a place for Sam in the shade and he promptly feel asleep in the fresh air. The girls played in the yard and with the water table before they set up our hose as a sprinkle to run through. I did not think it was quite that nice, but Molly had fun putting on her new swim top and getting herself nice and soaked.

Drake has also been enjoying the nice weather
The next Sunday we headed to Camel's Back park after church. We picked up a pizza and had a picnic and let the kids play on the playground. Then we all hiked up Camel's Back. I have actually never been to the top before and the view was incredible. Molly walked the whole way up. She held my head and kept yelling at everyone ahead of us that she was coming and making sure Mommy doesn't fall!
Sam likes to give this half kind of flirty smile.
After the hike Molly and Morgan stayed to play in the dirt.

1st Day of School
March 9th~
March 9th was my first day back at work and Sam’s first day at daycare. Molly was beyond excited to have Sam go to school with her so she could show him off to all her friends. However, this mommy had very mixed emotions. I was lucky enough to get 14 weeks of maternity leave, but somehow that still seemed to go by too quickly. I had started to get tired of the monotony of housework that was never finished, and excited to get back to my job, but I still was not quite ready to leave my baby for such a long timeframe!
It was nice to be sending him to a place that we already knew would take wonderful care of him, and I was happy Molly was also there so he would have a familiar face, but both Chris and I were sad Chris was not able to stay home with Sam for another 3 months like he had with Molly. This just made him seem a little too small to be sending off, and I did have some tears the night before.
I could not get Sam to smile for his 1st day of school photo and he actually started to cry on me! Talk about melting my heart. However, once we got to school he was all smiles for them. I called them at lunch to check in and his teacher said he was doing great and even started talking about his personality, which she had completely pegged. That made me feel better that they already knew him so well.

We also timed my first week back a little horribly since Chris was gone that week with work. Luckily Auntie Kristin took off work early to be my backup which was a life saver. We had a down machine all week, so those patients where added on to our other clinics which meant we were going late. My second day back I worked an 11 hour shift! It was an exhausting week but we all survived. I also have my boss scheduling me with a day off every pay period, so it has been great to look forward to those special days with my kiddos!
