Christmas has definitely become much more fun with the nieces. During the Christmas Eve service the twins kept asking if we were celebrating Jesus' birthday...then where was Jesus. Well during the last song of the night two people dressed as Mary and Joseph walked down the aisle carrying a little baby. The girls were in awe...they kept saying baby Jesus look it is baby Jesus. They actually gave me goosebumps with how excited they were to see "him".
Christmas morning we then meet at Lynn and Kerry's before the girls woke up. When they did, they were more interested in if the reindeer ate the food they left out than the gifts under the tree. I think it took us three hours to open all the gifts. Chris got me a new jewelry box and a pair of clear goggles for night skiing. I bought him a BSU shirt...since he is such a big fan;)...but his real gift was a handheld GPS for all the hiking he does. He was very to see I do hope to keep him around for awhile.
Best for me was when we found out Chris actually liked our tradition of fried oysters for Christmas brunch...now I know he truly is a keeper.
