October 4th~
Last year I ran my fastest 10k at Barber to Boise. Obviously that was not going to happen this year, but since I have still been able to stay somewhat active I did not want to miss out on Barber to Boise. Kristin agreed to walk the 5k with me. The weather was perfect and since we were doing the shorter route we even got to sleep in a bit!
We decided not to push me and stuck with walking the entire course. I got quite the workout in but when I had to slow Kristin down she kindly informed me not to feel too bad, "this is a little faster than my stroll!"

Welcome to Idaho Grandma!
September 29th~
Grandma finally took the leap and moved to Idaho! Uncle Timmy helped Grandma make the long drive here and Molly was excited to see them both.
Chris and Tim helped Grandma get settled in her new house and Molly could not have been happier to learn her Grandma was here for the long haul.
The first week was pretty busy for everyone, but once Grandma was settled she started picking Molly up early from school so they could play. Then, as an extra treat for all, Molly even had her first sleep over at Grandma's. It sounds like Molly had fun and Grandma was nice enough to send me a picture of a very happy Molly.

Elliot
October 1st~
After not seeing each other for pretty much the entire summer we finally found a day that worked to get Molly and Elliot together for a play date. Elliot came over ready to play, but Molly was not too sure at first. The daddies finally got the girls to go outside and play and that ended up being the trick.
They had a blast playing in the water table, then cleaning the slide, then trying to the mommies wet. Once we went inside it was time to chase each other and the daddies.

2014 Elk Hunt
September 19-29th~
Chris and Jake went on their annual elk hunt and finally got one this year! Chris shot his first elk with his bow, a cow on the second day of the hunt, and they spent the next few days packing it out, celebrating, and eating elk steaks in camp. It was a great week!

Anna's Sprinkle Shower
September 14th~
Anna did not want another baby shower so instead Joy set up a surprise dinner for her at Kona Grill. I hadn't seen Anna for awhile and was very eager to see her baby bump! We had a wonderful time hanging out and catching up. Anna also got some very cute baby girl clothes and gear.
I cannot wait to meet this little princess!

28 weeks
September 14~
I am not sure if I will ever stop saying how fast time is going by anymore. Never has that been more true than with this pregnancy. I was looking forward to enjoying all parts of this pregnancy knowing that it will most likely be my last. However, it seems once I blink another week is under my belt and I have to constantly look at my calendar to figure out which week I am even on. Last week I didn't even know I started my third trimester until my baby phone app sent me a notification!
The second trimester was wonderful and it was a blessing to feel like a human again. I hit a few nesting phases already and went to town on our guest bedroom and pantry. I have also still been running and biking in the mornings. I decreased my mileage to one awhile ago and so far that still seems to be okay. I feel great the first half and always think maybe I will try for more, but usually by the end of the mile I am ready to at least slow down to a walk.
Even with the added energy I still wear myself out. I usually feel great and start in on some big task just to crash right when I am done. Chris has still been great about making sure I get a nap in if I can, and the days I can't I usually just head to bed after Molly (usually 8pm!).
This baby has also turned into quite the little furnace. Poor Drake wont even sleep in our room anymore and has been sleeping upstairs. Chris thinks I am freezing him put since I sleep with the windows open, a floor fan facing me, ceiling fan on and the house set to 67 degrees. I guess I can see where he is coming from! And I still end up without covers on for the majority of the night!
This baby does not kick as much during the day I remember with Molly, but once night or first thing in the morning hits this kid kicks from every direction possible. It is awesome to see people's faces when I have them lay their arms across my belly so they can feel the four corners at once. A few too many people have joked they missed a baby during my ultrasound and when I get this kind of motion out of baby it sure makes me wonder!
My only major complaint are my feet. With work they have been swelling like crazy and I am sure they have already grown a whole size. I really need to try and find a larger size to wear to work, but even with flip flops on I can feel the blood pulling to my feet. Luckily that is the only real complaint now and as long as I get my feet up for a little while after work I am usually pretty good to go again.
