End of June

June 30th~

Kids -

I took the kids to Art and Park and they wanted to buy everything.  Luckily we found a table that was having a sale and we were able to find Molly and Sam a print that they loved for a reasonable price.

We had a gaage sale this month and told the kids they could keep the money twe earned from selling their items.  Once that began to happen, Molly went straight inside ato find more items.

Sam -
Sam loves to watch Daddy clean his fish.

Bike & Brew

June 22nd~

Katie set up a Bike & Brew tour and had a decent turnout.  We started at Payette Brewing Company, headed up river to Bowen's Crossing, and back down river again.  And of course, there were plenty of  pit stops for food and beer.

CJ Strike Fishing with Sam

June 12th~

Chris and Uncle Timmy took Sam out to CJ Strike reservoir for some crappie fishing.

The fishing was great and they caught a bunch of small crappies, a few bass, and Chris caught a big bluegill.

Sam was very proud of the fish he caught. He also netted all the fish that the guys caught.

Mystery at the Big Top

June 4th~

Drama Kids International writes their own plays for the end of the school year that allows the kids to each have an equal part in the performance, AND they rent out a school auditorium so the kids can feel what it is like to be on a bigger stage.

This was before the show and I think Molly was a little nervous.

Molly was originally casted as a mime, but then one of the clowns couldn't make the show, so they gave the clown lines to Molly as well. Molly's main role was to stand by the other actors and mimic their actions.  She did her lines great, but also tried to tell the other actors what their lines where.  That is something we will work on for next time :)

Sam LOVED the play and kept giving Molly the thumbs up.

Sam's Spring 2019 Soccer

Spring 2019

April 6th- June 1st~

April

Sam had been asking to play soccer so we signed him up for i9 soccer.  i9 is an amazing program that focuses on teammanship and having fun.  They also schedule their practices and games on Saturdays, one right after another.

Sam got my favorite number.

It was so cold for the first game that I thought it would ruin soccer for Sam.

However, he got a goal and that was a game changer for him.

May

Sam immediately did great with chasing the ball and getting into the mass of players to kick. However, he needed more time to learn to stay with the ball, even if no one is then chasing the ball.

Two medals were given out each week until all the kids received one.

Sam was excited when it was his turn.

June 1st - Last Soccer Game

On the last game all the kids got a trophy.  Couch would first start talking about the kid before saying their name, but Sam figured out when it was his turn.
