This morning Chris and I woke up early so we could head to Iowa for Easter. As we were getting ready to leave we started to noticed how Maggie was running to the litter box every three minutes. After over 40 minutes of watching her jump back and forth from the couch and bathroom we started to get concerned. I called mom and of course she freaked me out on how a cats health can drastically change in the 24 hours we would be gone if she got dehydrated. So I got on the phone to see if any vets were open. Now I know Anna enjoys vi sting the Pet ER but I could not find a single one. Instead we found one that opened at 7:30, so we loaded Maggie up and showed up without an appointment and at 7:31. The Dr was not due in until 8 so we left all of Maggie's info with the Vet Tech, and left Maggie there. The vet called a couple of hours later to basically say she was baffled. Maggie looks great, is acting great but is obviously having bathroom issues. So after urine and stool samples showing blood and a negative x-ray, we are still not sure what is going on. The vet has never seen blood in both samples for a cat. She thinks UTI, but that doesn't explain the stool. So tonight Maggie is going on antibiotics to see if that fixes the problem, and if not there will be blood work done tomorrow to see if we can't find any answers.
I guess the plus side is I really like this Vet and I have not even met her yet. She has been very informative and assured me to have a good weekend, that Maggie is in good hands and acting happy.
What I am not looking forward to is the bill I will be receiving tomorrow:( But it is all worth it if they can get our girl healthy again.
Anyway I hope you all have a great Easter (I am so excited lent is over and I can eat sweets and chocolate again!!!)

Oh Happy Day
Well the big news this weekend is my house got rented!!! The agency called yesterday and I could not be happier. Talk about a financial burden being lifted.
Other than that things have been going good. Chris and I have made it out with some friends a couple of times. I really like everyone I am working with and will be sad when I do go to nights. Next week I start in MRI. I figure I will be there for a couple of weeks before I go to my graveyard shifts.
I have to add some pictures of my wonderful nieces who I miss terribly. Ashley's baptism was last week and I very sad that I was not there. Our church has started to web stream their 10 am service so I got online to try and watch, but our connection here is so slow so I was able to hear the sermon, but not see. Then I had to put pictures of Ella and Morgan climbing the rock wall at the Y. This wall is 30 feet high. Morgan had already made it to the top before, but this was the first time Ella made it all the way up. They are getting so big I can't believe I am missing it.

Sunny Days
I started my new job on Thursday. It takes me 4 minutes to get into my car, drive to work, and find a parking spot. With the close proximity I think I am going to have to buy a new bike and start riding that to work.
Work has been good. I really like everyone there and they all seem to get along with each other. As always it is hard to learn new protocols and procedures. I understand the reason for some of the difference and not for others. Right now they just have me in CT, so I have been doing as many scans as I can to show I know how to run the scanner and follow protocols. I am hoping they will put me in MRI soon, so I can start that cross-training.
Yesterday it was 72 degrees here so Chris and I took advantage of the nice day. I finally got Chris out running with me in the morning, and then in the afternoon we went to Fort Kearney to walk a bike/hike trail. It was so nice to be out in the sunny weather, but it was not long lived as today the high is suppose to only be 41 degrees.
Last night Chris and I then went to one of Chris' professor's/boss's house for a fish fry. We made my little veggie pizza into the shape of a fish to take and everyone loved that. The food and company were great and everyone was laid back. It was very nice to get out of the house for a little bit.
