Mother's Day

May 12th~
It was another year of the Sawtooth Winery for Mother's Day.  We were minus Lynn's family who was driving back from an Alaskan cruise, but we did have our friends, Jeff and Janelle, come down from Oregon.  It was a blistering high 80s day, but luckily Chris and Pat showed up early to claim us a good spot where they were able to set up our sun shades. 

 

As always there was a ton of yummy food to go around.

I love how Molly always sits with her little legs crossed!  And yes I got a little over zeolous that morning and painted her toe nails. 

  

It got so hot we had to get the kiddos down to their skives to keep them cool...

 

Molly actually asks to have her sunglasses put on so I have to make sure I always have them on hand.

 She also got me a season pass to Zoo Boise and Chris got me a waist leash for our other child, Drake!

Ashley's Graduation

May 16th~
Molly and I were able to make Ashely's Preschool graduation.  I actually got a little teary eyed seeing how big she was...I can only imagine how bad it is going to be when it is Molly's turn!

 

Kokanee Fishing on Lucky Peak

May 5th~
Martin and Andrea invited us out on their boat for some kokanee fishing.  We were excited to take Molly on her first fishing trip, but were a little nervous about how long her or Miles would last on the boat.  The first hour or so was a little rough with both kiddos wanting to be on the move, but after some snacks and acclimation to the boat they did great. The fishing was only so so, but there was a lot of times Chris and Martin had to be focused on the kids, not the water, so I can understand that.  Still each brought home five fish and everyone had a blast!

Weekend in McCall

April 26th-28th~
Anna and Kingston invited Molly and me up to their cabin in McCall for the weekend.  We met at Anna's house after work on Friday and loaded everyone up in her car.  That night, after we got settled in and the kids to bed, Joy met up with us.  It was so good to see her again and be able to catch up!  I don't think she left for her hotel until about one in the morning.  We were having so much fun I could not believe how fast the time went by!  However, I felt the late night the next morning when Molly woke up at 6:30.  We had a leisurely morning with the kids and then loaded them up to take them to the beach.  It was fairly cloudy that day which worked out in our favor because we pretty much had the beach to ourselves.

 

 

 

This was Molly's first time playing in sand and she loved it! 

 

After so much fun in the sand, bath time was a nesscitiy.  Molly and Kingston had so much fun playing in the bath together, but we did have to have a talk about how this was only okay if mom or dad was around.
