1st Day of School - 2025

 August 13th~

Both kids are excited to be the "upperclassmen" at their schools this year. 

Molly is an 8th grader at Lewis & Clark.

Sam is a 5th grader at River Valley and has Mr. Sterling as his teacher.

First Ski Trip of the Season

 January 12th~

We had an awesome time heading up to Bogus for our first ski trip of the season! Even though there hasn't been much snow yet, the conditions were surprisingly good, and we really enjoyed ourselves on the slopes.

We all skied together for the morning, and then we got to meet up with Kelly and her boys for lunch, which was great! Bryce, who's on the ski team, used his lunch break to hit the slopes with Sam, and it was so much fun seeing them enjoy time together. Once Bryce was done for the day, they went for another run.

The terrain park is still Sam's favorite and Chris was able to enjoy a beer on the outdoor patio while watching Sam.

Kelly and I even got in a few runs together. 

Idaho Steelheads - Chuck-a-Puck

January 4th~

Meridian Academy of Gymnastics organized another fundraising night at the Idaho Steelheads game featuring Chuck-a-Puck. Although Nana and Papa were already in Arizona, the rest of the family joined the excitement, even the nieces' significant others!

Christmas Eve - 2024

 December 24th~

Christmas at the Cathedral.

The church changed its Christmas Eve service times; the one that worked best for us was a family service. We were sad not to be in the big cathedral area but even more disappointed that we only got glow sticks instead of real candles for 'Silent Night.'  Still, it was an excellent service, and this was the first time Chris and I got to stay the entire time and not have to let one of the kids run around.  

And of course we still got our traditional family photos. 

After church we headed to Doug and Jody's new house for games and dinner.

The kids got new super soft body pillows for Christmas Eve and Piper was quick to claim one for herself.
