The Karate Kids

September 30th~

I told the kids we could only have a movie fort night if I got to pick the movie.  I picked The Karate Kid, thinking the kids would love it.  However, we only made it halfway through the show until Molly's whining got to me, and I agreed to let her watch another show, as long as we finished the movie some other time.

In Molly's defense, the show does start of slow, and Molly did not like it when Daniel kept getting bullied.

We finished the movie the next day, and I kids got super into the show once Daniel started learning real karate.  Then they would yell at the TV, "you can do it Daniel, we believe in you."

Wild Kratts Live

September 29th~

We took the kids to see Wild Kratts Live at the Morrison Center and their reaction did not disappoint.  They were beyond excited and happily screamed and yelled along with all the other kids.

Even Chris and I were impressed by the show.  In order for the Kratt brothers to transform and use their "creature power," they first had to touch the creature, and then the fun began

Mom and Dad had an auction at the farm today.  I was quite impressed with all the stuff they got ready to sell.

I headed to SLC for a quick weekend to finally meet baby Maguire.  Annie and I packed two days filled with baby time, soccer games, mimosa making, hiking and movie watching.

Molly at Karate

September 5th~

Molly had been wanting to take karate classes but we told her she could not do karate and gymnastics at the same time.  We took the summer off from gymnastics and when the school year started, Molly decided it was time to try karate.

We did a trail class on the 5th to see how Molly would like a bigger center compared to when she took karate at daycare.  The class was an hour long and they kept everyone moving the entire time.  I thought this might be too much for Molly but she loved every minute.
