October 17th was my third time running the Barber to Boise 10k.
The weather could not have been more perfect. We started out at Barber Park, but they changed the course this year to have us run on the greenbelt and then end in Bronco Stadium. Overall the race was really good. Even better was I felt great the entire time. I knew I was close to a PR, but it was so nice to finally not feel like I was dying during a race, I really didn't care to push myself too hard. Well, I did not get a PR but came in close. I missed it by 10.375 seconds!. A part of me is kind of sad that I didn't push just a little bit harder to have finished with a PR, but it was worth it to end feeling great. I was able to run around on the field with the girls and they just loved running back and forth into the orange end zone.
My official time was 52 minutes 45.868 seconds.

Morgan, Mocha, Ella (Every weekend Mocha goes home with a kid from school. That kid/parent is then suppose to write up a little paper on what Mocha did that weekend and put pictures in Mocha's album. It just so happened that Morgan had Mocha this weekend and what a picture they got!)
